Hi sharing a good  video with you guys. I think many of you get to know who is Jeremy Lin, But in Taiwan there is another great athletic like Jeremy Lin too and this Taiwan guys is also worth us a salute for his positive attitude. Hardly get a English sub for this video, so hopefully my translation here work for you.



This is a 24 hours international marathon competition. Compete not about the speed but how far one can achieve with their physical limit in 24 hours. Runner with the longest distance Win. There are many great runner from all over the world who join this competition that took place at Taiwan on year 1999. Some Great Story begins by just a simple involvement.

A 23 year old Kevin Lin, Taipei Physical Education College student was in this "ultra-marathon", with strong determination and perseverance to finish the 24 hours. His mind only got one thought, which is not to lost to foreign runners!"

He starts running from day time until night, until moon to rise, until one o'clock, two o'clock in the mid night ... "he quickly holds down, feet not run!" But, he told himself: "I ...... Seeing the strongest Russian player after running for 13 hours also cannot stand out of the race, and hmm he asking himself ‘how about me, do I need to quit as well? Give up now? With firm reaction to his mind "No, no, I will never give up, never quit!"

Five or six in the early morning, the day dawn, tired, so sleepy and wanted to sleep Oh! Teammate hold hot towel to Kevin Lin to keep him refreshed let him be inspired to get through the most painful difficulties! Ran 16 hours, the New Zealand Chinese women, ‘Hu Eiji’ caught up, My God, girl, yeah a girl, actually catch up with me! No, no, I cannot lose to "foreigners", neither a girls! Thought of this, Kevin Lin lift force disobedient legs and courageous move forward; While most players are facing the loss of temperature, dehydration "phenomenon, but the" ultra-marathon "Is just exactly the  test of human’s perseverance, endurance and courage. " . 

Ran and continue to run, never give up! Hang on until the last hour, Kevin Lin sure of leading all player already. Kevin Lin's proposal, Hu Eiji in the final stages of his hand with two laps; said Kevin Lin, Hu Eiji has been vomiting phenomenon, he wanted to tide over the difficulties together with her. Finally Kevin Lin won the men's champion with 220km; whereas Hu Eiji 218.37 kilometers, put the women crown. What he did success is his clear will and insist throughout the competition which is far more important than the results itself. 

Life is like a marathon, is a race persisting till the end! even if someone has substantial lead in the process, not necessarily be able to ensure that they can win! Only into the dream and passion to persist till the end CAN get final victory! Not only you can jump across the finish line of success, but also help others toward success!

We must have the spirit of athletic, do not give up, completing the mission. Enhance and beyond to create a record, the pursuit of self-improvement. Win without pride, lose with grace.
